Okay, so these songs are before my time, but as I came across them, I couldn't help but recognize a theme of how even back then there was the realization of what a wonderful thing it is to be a little child.
:detective3 Thought I might share.
Children run and laugh and play,
Placing no importance on why you even gone away.
Theyre in another world of comic strips, potato chips,
Ice cream cones and bubble gum.
Oh how I envy little kids and wish that I were one.
Oh what Id give if I could only be a child again.
The rain goes on and on and on
Seen no sunshine for so long
And it keeps raining and raining and raining in the world Im living in.
Oh what Id give if I could only be a child again.
Children run and laugh and play,
Like its not even raining
But theyd be laughing in the middle of a storm.
Theyd think Id lost my mind out there
I call them in and theyre not worried
Seems so cold to me and yet, somehow they stay so warm.
Oh what Id give if I could only be a child again.
The rain goes on and on and on
Seen no sunshine for so long
And it keeps raining and raining and raining in the world Im living in.
Oh what Id give if I could only be a child again.
:detective3 Okay, okay... So this is pretty old stuff, but yet still somehow reached me as I felt myself hearing the words and realizing the words.. "Oh what I'd give if I could be a child again". Hit home to me. :blushie:
-- Here is another old song that was by an artist of my time, but yet must have been part of his early, early works.

I know, I know, some of you are like what the??? This isn't anything I would ever listen to. :tongueout:
But this happens to be from a very popular country artist of the not so long ago time, who played hits such as "A Country Boy can Survive, All My Rowdy Friends have Settled Down, and even the moniker of Monday Night Football for a long time singing "Are you ready for some football?"
Here are the lyrics for this song...
She didn't say goodbye
I'd like to cheer my aching heart if I could
I'd like to know the reason why.
What part of my life she couldn't buy
But I'll have a drink and then I'll cry.
So put a nipple on my bottle bartender
Warm my whiskey and be a baby's friend
A baby can't cry and tonight when I get high
I'm gonna be a baby again.
Go ahead and laugh at me
If you want to my friend I'm in misery
This second child who won't cause my pain to end
And I suppose that child could see
That it won't bring her back to me
But it might help to some degree.
So put a nipple on my bottle bartender
Warm my whiskey and be a baby's friend
A baby can't cry and tonight when I get high
I'm gonna be a baby again..
:detective3 Anyhow, when I came across this, it just kind of struck me that even so long ago, there were songs about being a baby again. Even though it may not have anything to being ABDL, it still had a theme. Seems time is not something that changes this.
